Information:
According to the General Vehicle Regulations, Euro-modular sets can reach a maximum total length of 25.25 metres and a weight of 60 tonnes. But now a new type of Euro-modular vehicle comes into play, the duo trailer, which exceeds the measurements and tonnes permitted by the regulation. Instruction MOV 2023/28 allows the circulation of the DUOTRAILER, which can reach up to 32 metres and has the capacity to transport up to 70 tonnes of goods. This must always be done with prior authorisation and on authorised roads.

The Dolly is the mobile coupling platform on duo trailers and other double trailer transport vehicles, as it allows two trailers to be safely joined together. We can find them mainly in single-axle or double-axle format. We could say that it is the key piece of connection between the towing trailer and the towed one.
